Travel & Lifestyle | There’s no better time to book a trip on the #DisneyFrozenThemedPlane with Disney & WestJet!

As the weather gets cooler and we begin to prepare ourselves for the colder months ahead, it’s time to start thinking about sunny destinations. For those of you who aren’t aware, Julio & I are in fact HUGE Disney fans. Though The Little Mermaid may be my favourite Disney movie, Frozen is another one that I could watch over and over again. This past weekend, our friends at Disney and WestJet announced their latest collaboration with the #DisneyFrozenThemedPlane. Now, not only can I escape to warmer weather and finally visit Disney for the first time, but I can also do it on a Frozen themed plane!

Gathered together in the WestJet hangar at Toronto International Pearson Airport, Julio & I were buzzing with excitement along with children of all ages. Anna & Elsa came to Toronto all the way from Arendale to celebrate with us and I can tell you, we screamed just as loud as the children in attendance did! The plane resting in the hangar with the rolling ladder positioned next to it – like this one from Platforms and Ladders – was really awe inspring as you could imagine passengers getting ready to board and ascend the ladders to embark on their magical voyage. Rolling ladders and various platforms are quite commonplace in hangars so it wasn’t a surprise to see that no expense had been spared in the hardware that was dotted around the floor.

The following moment, captured by Julio, was one that we will never forget! [fbvideo link=”https://www.facebook.com/243053919109578/videos/vb.243053919109578/913736335374663/?type=2&theater” width=”500″ height=”400″ onlyvideo=”0″]

“Like the #MagicPlane featuring Sorcerer Mickey, the images on the #DisneyFrozenThemedPlane tell an enchanting story. The tail of the aircraft features Anna and Elsa celebrating sisterhood and the magic of snow. Moving along the aircraft from back to front, the magic travels to warmer climes where Olaf can be found enjoying a summer day on the beach. The theme carries through to the interior of the aircraft with images on the overhead bins, bulkheads, lavatory mirrors and headrests.”

“WestJet serves Orlando, close to the Walt Disney World Resort, with a total of 43 flights per week during peak winter months from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Hamilton, Toronto, Ottawa,Montreal, Halifax, Moncton, Charlottetown and St. John’s.
