As the most amazing year ever is slowly coming to an end, I am looking back on all the fantastic adventures that I have been lucky enough to experience and share with you all. From Mexico with Julio, to Las Vegas with Catherine, and everything in between. One of the most incredible travel experiences I have ever had was alongside Gracie Carroll (lovingly referred to as my work wife) where we went to Los Angeles to attend an exclusive concert available to us as Marriott Rewards members. I didn’t before my trip and quickly realized that I wasn’t taking full advantage of one of my favourite rewards programs. We all have them. Collecting points from groceries to gas. But can they offer you the chance to attend a Demi Lovato concert? I doubt it.

So now that all our accounts are all up to date, let me tell you what 24 in Los Angeles looks like. After landing at LAX with Gracie, we opted to spend the day wih my good friend (and DoTheDaniel’s newest contributor!) Lesli. Exploring the sights that the city has to offer, I immediately remembered why I love Los Angeles. Similar to New York, this city has a tactile energy that left me smiling. From the sun to the shopping, the food and the beautiful sights… Los Angeles is a must on my Travel To-Do’s.
After exploring Abbot Kinney, we ate lunch at The Butcher’s Daughter Venice, explored Santa Monica and even got in a little visit at the Lacoste showroom to see some exciting new items coming to shelves this year. After all that (we made sure to really pack it all in and take advantage of being in the city) we checked into Courtyard Los Angeles L.A. LIVE before the concert and the stress of traveling immediately melted away. Conveniently located across the street from the STAPLES Centre, this stunning hotel lives in the middle of downtown Los Angels. For first time visitors, or those of you travelling back for the 100th time, it’s a perfect option to enjoy the relaxation you need without being too far from the action.
We ate a delicious meal at a local restaurant down the street and headed back to the STAPLES center to watch DNCE and Demi Lovato take our breath away. Sounds like a whirlwind experience, right? But it’s one that you can easily recreate using your Marriott Rewards account and Experiences Marketplace!
