When I stop to think about how Hennessy is celebrating their 250th anniversary, I am amazed by the way they have created something so unique. For 250 years, they have worked tirelessly to establish themselves in a way that spoke to their passion and dedication to their craft. As we draw nearer to that incredible moment in the history of the Hennessy name and celebrate the past, we as Canadians are invited to look forward and mark a moment in the future.
Yes, Hennessy is asking us all to stop and send a message to the future. One of inspiration, of hope, and most of all, of all the momentous occasions to come. From July 8-14 in Toronto, Hennessy is inviting you to be celebrate their past while also being a part of their future.
“On the occasion of its 250th anniversary, Hennessy creates the Time Barrel, an interactive time capsule that stores video and text messages for future generations. … Adding to Hennessy’s trademark slogan “Crafting the Future”, the short film features creative talents who explore the idea of leaving a trace, planning ahead and looking ahead to the future. Directed by Louis de Caunes, the clip features model and Sweat The Style founder Adrianne Ho, artist André and Hollywood producer and actor Josef Cannon.”
To be honest, I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of a time capsule. There is something quite beautiful about capturing a moment in time and saving it for our future selves. If all goes well, in 50 years when the Hennessy Time Barrel is opened and these beautiful moments are shared with us all, I will look back fondly on my contribution and time in my life.
For those of you who will be in Toronto from July 8-14, you will be lucky enough to be able to physically visit the Time Barrel on Bloor Street, on the street level patio of La Société, centrally located in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood.
“Hennessy urges artists and individuals alike to look forward to the future and leave their messages into its Time Barrel to gain meaning and strength over time; similar to how Hennessy has continued to age its products and evolve them in over 250 years.”
For those of you unable to physically join us, you can submit your message for the future at sendindameesagetothefuture.com. This is such a beautiful opportunity to be a part of something so monumentous with a brand that we love here at DoTheDaniel.com.
The Hennessy Time Barrel will travel to 9 cities all over the world. Destinations include Cognac, France, Guangzhou, China; Taiwan, Berlin, Germany, Moscow, Russia; London, Great-Britain, Toronto, Canada, Johannesburg, South Africa & Lagos, Nigeria. The whole world is taking part in thanking the past while celebrating the future. Won’t you join us?
For those of us who of course want to celebrate today, Hennessy also announced the launch of Hennessy 250 Collector Blend. This will be one of those bottles of Hennessy that I simply have to own for the sake of owning a piece of history. I consider myself a collector of beautiful things, and this is certainly on my list of must haves!
“In order to prepare the Hennessy 250 Collector Blend, these eaux-de-vie were aged in 250 handmade, especially commissioned barrels of Limousin oak containing 250 litres each. Prior to that, they were aged in barrels for at least ten years under optimum conditions: temperate and oceanic, the epitome of controlled balance, of subtlety and “elegance””
This is a must in my home and I can’t wait to get my hands on a bottle for my Hennessy Collection. I encourage you all to do the same before the last bottle sells and the moment is gone. After all, time is fleeting.
To celebrate along with us as the clock ticks down, make sure to follow @HennessyUS on Twitter and Instagram. Use the #Hennessy250 hashtag to join in on the social media conversation and share with us all the inspiring message you have for the future.

Hi,
I am Steve. I’m interested in advertising on your site.
I wanted to ask do you publish sponsored posts on your website? And, if you do, how much do you charge for such service?
Hope to hear from you soon!
Regards,
Steve
Looking for effective advertising that has no per click costs and will get you new customers fast? I apologize for sending you this message on your contact form but actually that was kinda the point. We can send your advertising message to sites via their contact pages just like you’re reading this note right now. You can specify targets by keyword or just go with bulk blasts to websites in any country you choose. So let’s assume you want to blast a message to all the real estate agents in the United States, we’ll grab websites for only those and post your promo to them. As long as you’re advertising a product or service that’s relevant to that business category then your business will get an awesome result!
Shoot an email to [email protected] for details on how this works
