For those of you who follow along with us on social media, you’ll have seen that we’ve been sharing a lot of exciting #Canada150 moments. Those won’t be slowing down any time soon, and another one just took place today as CIBC announced Gold medalist Marielle Thompson as a CIBC 150 Brand Ambassador. Along with some other incredible Canadians, the #StandForCanada hashtag is ramping up to show Canadians how much CIBC is dedicated to celebrate our country in the most patriotic of ways from coast-to-coast all year long.
You’ll remember that we shared the exciting Winterlude activities that helped us to get into the Canada 150 spirit (click here to see), so in light of the upcoming #BlueSX weekend at Blue Mountain Resort (you’ll remember CIBC has an affinity for the mountains & fascinating ways to bank) today’s announcement is one of many coming from the CIBC team. Marielle, who clinched the World Cup ski cross crown this past Saturday in Sunny Valley, Russia, will join the ranks of CIBC 150 Brand Ambassador, hockey great Connor McDavid. I know that I am personally excited to see what Marielle, Connor and many other iconic Canadians have in store for us as a part of that incredible team of ambassadors. I encourage you all to follow along with her and CIBC to see what #StandForCanada means. Trust me when I say, it’s going to be an exciting year full of exciting announcements!
