I am of the mindset lately that when shitty things happen to me personally, the best way to overcome them is to do something nice for someone else. Because there is a theory – don’t quote me on this, as I’m paraphrasing – centered around the law of attraction which says that if you put out positive into the world, positive will find you. I’ve had an interesting few months outside of this world, and I try my best to navigate it all. Thankfully, my business partner is also my best friend. In doing nice things for her, I feel like I’ve made the world a little bit brighter. And if you know Catherine like I do, you’ll understand that chocolate is always a good way to make her happy.
If you are like me, you enjoy the look on someone’s face when you give them a gift. Especially if it’s a “just because” gift to make them feel loved and appreciated. Recently I had the pleasure of being introduced to JACEK Chocolate Couture and I IMMEDIATELY knew that I had to get some of their amazing products for Catherine. As mentioned, few things make her happier than chocolate, and I like to believe that small gestures like ordering some of their products online helped her have a better day.
Not only is this Canadian company creating quite a name for themselves as they slowly expand west from their home in the prairies, but they products are incredibly inventive. And did I mention incredibly Instagramable?
So why JACEK? You’ve seen that we work with a lot of chocolate brands – and I love them all (if you have chocolate, it will never go to waste at our office). JACEK has an amazing story that really spoke to me about building a brand in Canada, and doing what you love because you love it. I’ve been a little introspective as you’ve noticed, and it just felt right to partner with them and support their brand.

In addition, JACEK has partnered with leading retailers who sell their line of chocolate bars and confections.”
I also love the idea of buying their gift sets and upcoming holiday items for people on my shopping list because it’s something a lot of people in Toronto might not know about yet. DID I ALSO MENTION THEY ARE DELICIOUS? So, there’s that too. Because I wouldn’t recommend something we didn’t enjoy – we’ve been doing a lot of testing this week at the office and it’s been pretty sweet. See what I did there? #DadJokes
