Being “Green” Has Never Looked This Good

Having had several moments over the last twelve moments where I was able to stop and realize how much I have grown, I am finally able to be happy with the man I am today in 2019. I am not perfect, and just like you I have made a lot of mistakes. That’s human nature – and I think some of the best lessons I have had to learn have been from loss and challenging choices. And my friends, that is okay.

We have to go through all of that in order to properly appreciate those things, and people, we love with all the ferocity of our hearts. Or at least, that is how I am choosing to see this year. I know what I feel, what I think, what I believe, and who I want to be as a man. Both for myself and for those in my life. One of those decisions comes from the knowledge I acquired in 2018 about my impact on the world around me with the purchases I make.

A Beautiful Change Of Pace

Today I wanted to take a minute to acknowledge all the people that help to make DoTheDaniel.com a success around the world. It’s not just the #DTDteam as we continue to grow and expand, but it is also the friends and family that support us. It’s you the reader, and of course the brands that work with us to make us look and feel our best. At the end of the day, I spend a lot of time in the public eye and I want to always feel my best. That being said, as I’ve gotten older, I have come to realize that the choices I make should be responsible ones. From supporting eco-friendly and socially responsible brands such as Outland Denim (click here to read about them if you haven’t yet) to the salon I frequent to keep my wild head of hair tamed, life is about making the right decisions lately. So it’s why I am excited to announce that we’ve partnered with worldSALON here in Toronto as our salon of choice. Travel & Lifestyle | Come along with me on #MyViviscalJourney with Viviscal Man!

I’ve come to realize that getting older isn’t always what it’s cut out to be. I love being in my thirties and am always so grateful for the lessons that my life has taught me over the years. BUT, the fact remains that as I get older, I am faced with the reality that staying in shape is a little harder and bouncing back from those late nights out is a little rougher. Not to mention, as a man, I have to come to terms with the fact that hair loss is a real possibility as I get older. Living a busy life can add to the stress which can attribute to premature hair loss and thinning (amid genetics, of course) and so to combat that and feel better about a lustrous head of hair, I am excited to finally announce the details of #MyViviscalJourney with Viviscal Canada.
