With 2020 almost half way done, it feels as though the new reality we live in is slowly finding its footing. Many of us continue to work from home and practice social distancing based upon the instructions where we live. We have learned to support local, wear Canadian and share beautiful moments with each other via digital platforms.

We continue to use our voices to amplify those that need to be heard and now we are seeing the evolution of major Canadian events taking note and making industry leading changes themselves. Why We Wear Canadian

Six years ago, I’ll be honest and say that I didn’t know a whole lot about Fashion, let alone Canadian fashion. I assumed that if I was shopping at a store in Canada (asides from the “big names”) it was Canadian. Thankfully one of the brightest minds in the industry helped to educate me and open up my world to the incredible talent that we produce right here in the country I call home. Over the years, my exploration of the Canadian fashion world has been inspiring to say the least. I have come to meet and befriend designers from coast-to-coast, and one that always leaves me feeling inspired is the talented Andrew Coimbra. From his understanding of construction, fabrication, street style influencers, and international influences, this is one designer that (if you don’t already) you simply must explore.  Continue reading “Why We Wear Canadian”

What is Toronto Style?

Being a born and raised Torontonian is different than being born in other major city around the world. For starters, Toronto is a place where different cultures, people, and religions connect and live to build a metropolitan city like no other. With every neighbourhood, from the downtown core to the city suburbs offering a different taste, culture, community and of course style, it’s easy to understand why people often refer to Toronto as the most multicultural city in the world.

Our best kept secret revealed

For those of you follow along with our adventures around the world on social media, you’ll have seen that Catherine & I recently attended the JUNO Awards in Ottawa as official bloggers (click here & here to read about the exciting experience).
