I believe in science. But I also believe in the varied and integrative facets of what science and can mean. And while I love to research and truly thrive on fact-based learning, I can also see beyond into the realm of the unknown. One that makes room for faith, intuition, and trust in oneself. That’s why the path to healing isn’t linear. Sometimes it’s trial and error, sometimes it’s blissful or painful, it can be rocky at times and smooth during others… but it’s always worth it.
I’ve studied science, but I’ve also delved deep into alternative medicine as well. I truly believe that there is a time and a place for both in everyone’s health journey. Ideally, we would live in a place where both could co-exist and could be used in conjunction with each other, for the betterment of the individual in need. I do feel like we’re getting to a place where people are becoming more open about asking for and seeking what they feel that need in order to heal. Some turn to medicines like medical marijuana that can help them with chronic pain or stress as well as other ailments. People will buy cannabis edibles online for use when the pain becomes too much to bear or stress stops them from doing normal everyday things.
Some people may also find that when it comes to healing your body and mind, there is no right or wrong answer. And there shouldn’t be. In order to help you feel like yourself again, you need to do what works for you. It doesn’t matter whether you go down the science route with conventional medication and treatments, or the alternative medicine path by having a look for something like the best CBD oils in your area, the choice should be entirely yours. That is why so many people have been able to find effective healing tools for themselves, as they have the option of both alternative and scientific resources to help them lead a healthier life.
That’s why I love Deepak Chopra (MD). He has been described by Time Magazine as “one of the top 100 heroes and icons of the century.” Deepak Chopra, MD FACP, is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and a Clinical Professor in Medicine at the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Chopra also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Executive Programs at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and of Columbia Business School, Columbia University. He is a world-renowned pioneer in integrative medicine and personal transformation and is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Metabolism. He truly walks the line between alternative and conventional medicine – even though I truly wish there were no separation between the two in the first place!
Recently, Deep Ocean Sky Entertainment announced that the world- renowned pioneer in integrative medicine and personal transformation will bring his perspectives on “The Future of Wellbeing” to Canada this fall as part of a two-city tour. The first show takes place on October 10th at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Followed by Toronto on October 13th at the Beanfield Centre at the CNE grounds. There are still tickets left for both events!
We will be there with some of our closest friends, in order to take it all in as he shares practical ways to experience higher consciousness, transformation and healing including new insights from his latest work, The Healing Self. There’s an opportunity to purchase tickets for a special meet and greet with Dr. Chopra himself. I can’t wait to meet a man who has dedicated his life’s work to helping others help themselves.
Wanna come along with us? Well, we’re giving away 5 Gold Level tickets to his show in Vancouver and 5 Gold Level tickets to his show in Toronto!
