Though many of us may not be thinking of fitness during the holidays, that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t be. Recently I was introduced to the Polar A360 Fitness Tracker and I am here to tell you that it has changed the way I see fitness and staying healthy (especially over the holidays). With New Years resolutions around the corner and fitness lovers in my family to buy for this Christmas, I tell you all about my experiences with this fashionable addition to my life and how you can take a step in the right direction with us.
“Polar A360 features industry-leading heart rate measurement-based training guidance, in addition to 24/7 activity tracking, and all this information is displayed on a high-resolution color touchscreen. The A360 is waterproof and tracks daily activity, steps, calories, workouts, and sleep.”
If you’re like me, you’ve taken up a new fitness regime time and time again but seem to fall off the bandwagon. Life gets busy. I get it. I’ve been there and before I know it I am not as physically active as I want to be and I start not giving myself the time I deserve. What I love most about the A360 is that it’s always with me and keeping track of my activity (be it a little or a lot), and based upon that it helps to remind me to stay fit. Today I’ll be at the desk in the office writing a lot, but that also means that my A360 will send me a gentle reminder that I’ve been sitting for too long. Genius! A nudge in the right direction to take Canela for a walk or get up and stretch my legs if I don’t have time to get to the gym today.
Personalization is always a great option when you purchase your very own A360. “Users can match their personal style with interchangeable and vibrantly colored, soft silicone wristbands, which will be available in Powder White, Charcoal Black, Neon Green, Sorbet Pink and Navy Blue for individual purchase“ – I of course opted for Black and White, but love the idea of getting new colours seasonally.
The online world is really integrated into the technology of the A360. It not only is a heart monitor, a link to your social media, a fitness tracker… but it’s also a link to a whole new community that I was introduced to.
“The Polar Flow web service also offers a window into a person’s fitness and training diary. If training with a coach or personal trainer, Polar Flow for Coach offers additional training support, as users can connect and share workout information via the web service and receive feedback from their coaches. The A360 also works with Polar Club, allowing users to train with club instructors and view live heart rate data during fitness classes.”
I am not a techy person. Never have been. Julio still sets up the TV and electronics in our home… it’s just not my forte! Thankfully, the set up is so easy even I could do it. Alongside the information that is captured in my day to day life, the app on my mobile device helps to provide me with an insightful view of my fitness and health goals. I like to think that when it comes to staying active, if it’s out of sight it’s out of mind. This comfortable device helps to remind me of my goals and gives me the visual cues I need to stay on track and work towards a better me.
As I sit here writing about my experience, my A360 is buzzing and it means its time to get moving. I encourage you all to get yourself this stylish addition to your life that will help you to learn about your body and mind. Fitness is all about taking a step in the right direction, one day at a time. Thanks to my new Polar A360, I am on the right path to being a better me.
Available at Running Room & Sportchek this note only makes an amazing holiday gift for those in your life. It’s also a great price point to purchase for yourself if you also need that encouragement, convenience and fashionable addition to your life.
