For those of you who know me, you’ll have seen that over the years I’ve become a bit of a collector. As a child I was into Pokémon cards (I should probably find those again. Someone told me they’re worth something now…) As I grew up, I like to believe that my taste level grew up to. When I started to see the release of the #HennessyVerySpecial bottles from Hennessy Canada, I knew I had to have them. Unique pieces of art, in collaboration with unique artists from all walks of life. This year, the collection is centered around the one and only Jon One. I was lucky enough to get my hands on my latest addition to the collection from over the years, and wanted to share why you should as well.
I’ve had a long standing love affair with Hennessy over the years. Not only have we had the pleasure of working with them, but I have created memories that I still hold very fondly in my heart. From sending a message to the future, to intimate lunches with Hennessy royalty, it’s been a wild ride. Being that the brand lives by a #NeverStopNeverSettle motto that I try to emulate with DoTheDaniel.com, it just makes sense. Plus when it comes to cognac, it is the best in the world in my opinion. So when I had the pleasure of meeting John Andrew Perello, also known as JonOne, in Toronto during his world tour for the new bottle, I couldn’t have been more excited!

He spoke of the world of art, the eternal evolution, and why the Hennessy brand made the most sense for his journey in the world. What an experience he has lived in the process! Touring the world and seeing how street art lives and breathes in cities around the world. It was truly inspiring and helped to remind me that creativity is alive and well in the world. Not to mention that I got him to sign my bottle. Total fan girl moment!
What does the future hold for Hennessy Canada & I you ask? Well I aspire to be a part of their collaborator series like Sidewalk Hustle. I want to travel the world and visit the distillery. I want to immerse myself in the BTS and bring you all along with me. Not to mention, continuing to buy myself those beautiful #HennessyVerySpecial bottles as they continue to come to Canada. I adore Hennessy and hope that along with our journey, if not already, you have come to as well.
Not to mention that for those of you looking to get me a special something for my birthday, a beautiful bottle of Hennessy is always a good idea. I am missing a few bottles from the #HennessyVerySpecial collaborator series. Hint hint!
