How To Make Breakfast Your Best Friend

Listen, I know not everyone eats breakfast for many different reasons. Maybe you don’t have the time, maybe you’re just not hungry in the mornings, or maybe you’re trying some Intermittent Fasting. But, making sure that if and when you do eat breakfast, that you’re putting the right things in your body is so darn important. It truly sets you up for the rest of the day!

Now, let me take a minute, cause I wanna talk to those people who think that breakfast is a whole lot of work and that they don’t have the time. I’m of the mindset that you should always put an effort in for yourself because you deserve it. Make your health and well-being a priority, folks! But, on the flip side, I get it. You want to sleep in as much as possible, or you want to use your time to get yourself or others ready, or you just can’t be bothered because there are other things going on that you think are more important.

Honestly, it doesn’t have to be that complicated. It just takes a bit of foresight and planning ahead. Think of your future-self as much as you do your present-self. What do you think you’ll need in order to nourish your body and start your day right? For me, it’s all about something easy and convenient. That’s why I’ve introduced a new tool into my life that helps me make breakfast my best friend again.

Cuisinart’s new Compact Portable Blending/Chopping System is a 15-piece, one-touch operation, that is hands-free so you can continue use while whipping up your meal or snack. It has a 350 watt motor and 3 speeds, so you can easily mix smoothies, puree soups, sauces or even crush frozen ice for drinks. The best part is that you can use one of the 4 convenient travel cups, which are BPA free and ideal for your breakfast on the go.

Here are 3 of my favourite ways to use this awesome new Smartpower™ Blender Series.

Smoothies for Days

Yeah yeah, the Nutritionist is telling you to make smoothies. I get it, so typical. But they really are a great way to pack in a whole whackload of nutrients into one easy and delicious drink, especially on the go! All you need is some healthy ingredients and this portable system. Throw everything under the sun into it, toss it in one of the travel cups and be on your merry way. If even that’s too much effort for you, do it the night before and leave it in the fridge to grab on your hurried way out the door.

Coffee with Benefits

Ever heard of butter coffee? Or bulletproof coffee? Well, if you’re into upping your coffee or latte game, this machine has got you covered. You could also check out sites like Ponbee.com to brush up on your coffee-making skills. Adding fat to caffeine helps to deliver it into your cells faster while also giving you the benefits healthy fats can offer. Of course, the amount of fat might differ according to the coffee powder, and people have their own preferences when it comes to coffee. Some of you might prefer the coffee shops Boulder kind- which are organic and pure, and others might prefer the taste of pain processed coffee. Anyway, how do ya make the butter coffee? With six simple steps! Step one, make coffee or tea of your choice. Step two, throw into the Smartpower™ Blender Series. Step three, add coconut oil, butter, or MCT oil. Step four, throw in any added fun things of your choice like vanilla, cinnamon, collagen, hemp hearts, etc. Step five, blend until creamy. Step six, enjoy. You’re welcome.

Eggs with Ease

I love eggs, not just in the mornings, but all of the time. They’re such a complete food – from the fats, to the protein to the all-around nutrient value. But, having them for breakfast can set your day up right, as protein in the morning can help to balance out your blood sugar throughout the day – easing that possible 2pm crash. It really doesn’t take long to make something tasty and healthy, when you have the right tools. I love to whip up my eggs by throwing them right into the Smartpower™ Blender Series with some water or milk of choice (depending on what you’re gonna do with them) and then adding them right into a pan to cook with veggies or into muffin cups with meat, cheese and veggies. Super simple breakfast, with minimal steps but maximum flavour and health benefits!

So, there ya have it busy people. It’s really not as complicated or time consuming as you might think – as long as you have the right tools to get the job done. It’s time to make the decision to treat yourself right and to remember that you’re worthy of the effort you put in for yourself, just as much as others.
