The summer is coming to an end, and with that, it means that it’s probably time to start thinking about a vacation. I know that I could use one! Earlier this year I had the pleasure of visiting Catalonia Hotels’ Royal Tulum with Julio and Nick to unwind and relax at one of our favourite destinations in The Caribbean. Not only did we immerse ourselves in the resort and the beauty of Mexico, but we also were some of the first people to experience the NEW Rauxa Restaurant & Show! When planning a trip, there are obviously a few things that need to be organized before departure to ensure your vacation is as relaxing as possible. For those of you who have traveled to Mexico before, you know that it is important to organize your travel to and from the resort. And for those of you heading to Catalonia Royal Tulum for the first time, I would encourage you to book your airport travel beforehand. Olympus Tours offers an amazing transportation service (all easily organized on their website in just a few clicks!) as well as offering a wide variety of tours in Mexico, The Dominican Republic and Panama. Upon arrival, our Olympus Tour contact greeted us at the airport and guided us to our driver. Once we had arrived to the resort, it felt like coming home. Julio & I were first introduced to Catalonia Royal Tulum in 2015 and quickly fell in love with the resort and its staff. So much so, that we even eloped to Catalonia Royal Bávaro late last year. I consider Catalonia Hotels & Resorts to be a huge part of my life and important moments I will always cherish. It’s why they are always top of mind when I start to plan a relaxing vacation to unwind.

An adult only show on an adult only resort – there is a playful mixture of stunning choreography, talented performers and a delicious menu. I was astounded that a show of this caliber was steps away from my room. With several packages available to enjoy, it is a must for those of you staying on the resort and / or in the area. We enjoyed an incredible meal, a few drinks and a show that we still tell all our friends about!
Sexy, immersive and stimulating are all words that I have used over and over again when diescribing the show to our friends. Led by an embodiment of Rauxa, the show takes you on a journey that is expressed in opulent wardrobe, choreography, very attractive performances… all while you enjoy a delicious meal? I mean, it’s pretty perfect in my opinion!
