Here at Do The Daniel, we believe that family always comes first. Family might be a pretty broad term for some people. For me, it means the people who are related to me, but also the people whom I love. That love is constant and unconditional. I know this to be true because I would do anything for them. What would you do if a member of your family needed help? And what if this member just happened to be the youngest of the bunch?
Every year, more than 100,000 children go to SickKids Hospital in need of life-saving care. This number grows with each year that passes. Thanks to the donations made, this leading health-care institution is able to provide the best care possible along with continued research and learning programs.
This year, my favourite mindful healing clinic in Toronto is hosting a healthy living event with all proceeds going towards SickKids Hospital. On Saturday June 6th from 10am – 6pm, Soul 7 and their Healthy Living Partners, are standing in solidarity with SickKids’ vision of “Healthier Children, A Better World”.
Located at 17 Yorkville Avenue, Suite 100, admission is FREE with any donation to the SickKids Hospital. The event will include complimentary therapies, functional fitness, products and services focused on healthy living, information on optimal nutrition and more!
“Soul 7 is an innovative Healing Centre with a focus on Technologies that balance the mind and body. Soul 7 will be sampling their state of the art Vibro Acoustic Therapy combines sound and full body vibration to clear the mind and relax the body, leaving you with the feeling of spending an entire day at the beach in just minutes. Soul 7 is proud to host The Healthy Living Exchange in support of the SickKids Foundation.”
Healthy partners include: The Spa at The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, The Power Institute – Functional Fitness, The Living Kitchen, Toronto Fire Department, Schecter Dental, Revitasize, Jaime Slavin – Nutritionist and Registered Dietitian, Dr. Sasha Tahiliani – Naturopathic Doctor and Village Living Magazine.
Making a donation always has a lasting ripple effect because the amount of people affected by this generosity is endless. It is empowering to be able to give someone the tools they need to help their family. When you invest in a child’s health, it’s an investment in the future.
